About Us
Alaturka is a Fethiye - Turkey based Travel Company, which started operating in October 2003 by Murat Danisan (Ned 27) and Resit Kaya (Reggie 31). Run by a young management and dynamic multi-cultural team. We have a unique way of running our tours, cruises and hotel / hostels.
Brief History
The business started when the owners bought their first yacht, 'Alcyone' in October 2003, with the focus being only Fethiye to Olympos cruise tours for backpackers. In March 2005 we took the new name “AlaTurka”, enlarged the cruise routes and the number of yachts. In 2006 we further expanded to include bus tours and opened up our first hostel / hotel in Fethiye at the end of March 2007.
About our tours briefly
We specialise in blue cruises along Turkey's Mediterranean coast; providing private yacht charters, regular cabin cruises with guaranteed departures through summer and also organize small bus tours from Istanbul, Gallipoli, Selcuk / Kusadasi, Fethiye, Olympos, Cappadocia and many more. We also own a nice hotel overlooking Fethiye bay and organize short daily tours, activities & nightly party boats for our hotel guests in Fethiye.
Alaturka Cruises
Organised blue cruises along the Mediterranean coast with our own gullet yachts. We organise several cruising routes departing from Fethiye, Olympos and Marmaris.
Fethiye – Olympos Blue Cruises: We have daily guaranteed departures from Fethiye to Olympos and Olympos to Fethiye, starting at the end of March until the 3rd week of October. A large percentage of travellers join Alaturka’s Fethiye – Olympos Blue Cruise during their trip to Turkey.
Other Cruises: We also organize Fethiye 12 island cruises, Fethiye to Marmaris and Marmaris to Fethiye cruises seasonally.
Alaturka Private Yacht Charters
We operate a large fleet, with yachts from 12 to 36 metres long, from fishing boats to super luxury yachts; you can choose any option depending on your budget.
Our Gulets: We have different types of Turkish traditional gulets and we can pretty much cruise any route along Turkey's coast, also including some of the Greek islands if requested. Our yachts are traditionally, handmade Turkish gulets and are all listed on our cruise website.
Charter Routes: We organize several cruising routes departing from Antalya, Kemer, Olympos, Finike, Demre, Kas, Kalkan, Fethiye, Gocek, Kas, Gocek, Marmaris and Bodrum, you can see a list of the itineraries, starting from 3 days to 15 days in length.
Alaturka Bus Tours
We operate organized, tailored or private tours all around Turkey and also regional tours such as Istanbul tours, Gallipoli tours, Ephesus tours, Pamukkale tours, Dalyan tours, Cappadocia tours and Mt. Nemrut tours with our own buses or related local affiliates.
