About Us
Alaturka is a Fethiye - Turkey based Travel Company, which started operating in October 2003 by Murat Danisan (Ned) and Resit Kaya (Reggie). Run by a young management and dynamic multi-cultural team, they have a unique way of running their tours, cruises and hotels.
Brief History
The business started when Ned and Reggie bought their first yacht, 'Alcyone' in October 2003, with the focus being on only Fethiye to Olympos Gulet Cruises. In March 2005 they took the new name “AlaTurka”, and each year since, have enlarged the cruise routes and the number of yachts. In 2006 they further expanded to include bus tours, travel in other destinations in Turkey and opened up their first hotel in Fethiye at the end of March 2007.
Their first organisation's office was opened in 2006, however the first head office opened in 2009 opposite to Fethiye Marina. They now have extended their offices to Pamukkale and Olympos since 2010. Alaturka included new yachts and a new Guesthouse in Fethiye towards the end of 2010.
In 2013, AlaTurka's 10th year, they continue to grow with a new relationship with Top Deck Travel and Top Deck gulet cruises. They are also looking forward to the season with new and alternative cruising and bus routes, a group of new young team members to join the existing crew and various new changes after the continued success they have had in previous years.
Alaturka Team
Members of Alaturka's management, office and marketing crew come from various parts of Turkey such as Fethiye, Selcuk, Pamukkale Cappadocia, Demre and we also have multicultural brains from South Africa, Australia, Germany, Hungary and Russia. Every one of the team members have years of experience either in yachting, travel, marketing or hospitality and all strive to improve AlaTurka's service year on year.
Most members of Alaturka Fleet (Captains & Crew) have been working with Alaturka for 3 to 6 years, and are from local cruising areas such as Kekova, Kas and Fethiye.

Alaturka tours in brief
Alaturka specialise in blue cruises along Turkey's Mediterranean coast; providing private yacht charters, regular cabin cruises with guaranteed departures through summer and also organise bus tours including Istanbul, Gallipoli, Selcuk, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Fethiye, Olympos, Cappadocia and many more. Alaturka also own a nice guesthouse overlooking Fethiye bay and organise short daily tours, activities & nightly party boats for our guesthouse guests in Fethiye.
Alaturka Cruises
Organised blue cruises along the Mediterranean coast in a Turkish wooden gulet. We organise several cruising routes departing from Fethiye, Olympos, Kas and Marmaris.
Fethiye – Olympos Blue Cruises: The most popular cruising route, there are daily departures from Fethiye to Olympos and Olympos to Fethiye, starting at the end of April until the 3rd week of October. A large percentage of travellers join Alaturka’s Fethiye – Olympos Blue Cruise during their trip to Turkey, as it is known as a highlight and one of the best things to do while in Turkey.
Other Cruises: We organise cruises from Marmaris, Bodrum, Antalya, Kemer and Kas with limited departures throughout the year.

Alaturka Private Yacht Cruises
Alaturka operate a large fleet with various options of Gulets / Yachts from 18 to 36 metres long, from standard gulets to super luxury yachts; you can choose any option depending on your budget.
The Gulets: There are different types of Turkish traditional gulets and Alaturka can pretty much cruise any route along Turkey's coast, also some of the Greek islands if requested. Our yachts are traditionally, handmade Turkish gulets and are all listed on our ''Fleet'' section.
Charter Routes: Alaturka organise several cruising routes departing from Antalya, Kemer, Olympos, Finike, Demre, Kas, Kalkan, Fethiye, Gocek, Kas, Gocek, Marmaris and Bodrum, you can see a list of the itineraries, starting from 3 days.
