Fethiye to Demre 3 day, 2 night cruise is for those of you with not so much time up your sleeve, but still affording the chance to cruise along one of the most popular routes along the Turquoise Coastline. Travelling on a standard gulet, this cruise has something for everyone. From the ancient cities and sights to crystal clear waters for swimming and snorkelling.
You leave Fethiye bound for Butterfly Valley where you can take the time to hike in the valley or just in enjoy the vivid blue ocean for a swim. You will then cruise past Europe’s most photographed beach, Oludeniz, anchoring on the back side of the Blue Lagoon before you will finally anchor down at St Nicholas Island, where you can go and explore the ruins. Kas and the Kekova region will be explored over the next few days as your captain will take you past the famous Sunken City of Kekova, give you time to go shopping in Kas and visit the ruins of Simena Castle for some sweeping views over the ocean you have just travelled along. Throughout your cruise you and the other guests will be offered the chance to undertake some optional activities of paragliding and diving, you will get the chance to relax and swim in some stunning bays, whilst the whole time enjoying a plentiful of Turkish dishes and hospitality.

Fethiye to St Nicholas Island
Guests will be collected from any centrally located hotel in Fethiye around 10:00am to meet in the Alaturka office for check in. You will then all be taken to your gulet for a briefing about your cruise. You then depart Fethiye harbour around 11:00am to 11:45am and cruise to Butterfly Valley for swimming, lunch and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Butterfly Valley is known to be the home to over 136 different types of butterflies and moths, however in the summer months they can be difficult to spot.
Afterwards, you will visit the most photographed beach in the world - Oludinez. Here you have the optional excursion of going paragliding. You will take off from Babadag Mountain, 2000 metres and fly over Oludeniz beach and Blue Lagoon. This is one of the best spots in the world for paragliding and will offer you the most amazing and spectacular views! Please look into pre booking this activity either online for special online rates; with our friendly office crew or last minute let your captain know on departing Fethiye. Tonight you will anchor down at St. Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk up through the island's ruins and sit and enjoy the sunset. (L, D)
St Nicholas Island to Kas
Today you will wake up just outside of Kalkan in the beautiful Aquarium Bay for breakfast and a swim. You will then cruise onto Kas, which is a small fishing village with some of the best shopping in the area, especially unique jewelry pieces. You will be given time to explore the local shops, including many handmade jewelry, clothes stores and some local cafes for great coffee. For those interested in the optional extra of diving, you will be transferred out to the diving boat to go scuba diving in what is said to be the best place to dive in Southern Turkey. Get the chance to dive in the beautiful clear waters of the Southern Mediterranean with some sights offering a cave dive or even a wreck dive. Be sure to look at booking this optional extra online before your cruise to receive an online discount. The night is spent in one of the secluded bays between Kas and Kekova. (B, L, D)
Kas to Demre
Today after breakfast you will cruise onto the Sunken City, an ancient town that dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period and was destroyed by an earthquake. You will cruise over this protected World Heritage site nice and slowly to enjoy the view, however no swimming, diving or snorkelling is allowed in this area as it is now a protected sight. Afterwards you will anchor down to visit Kekova and Simena Castle, where you can walk to the top and witness a magical view over the bay.
You will then be transferred to Demre Harbour where your cruise ends. An Alaturka ground crew member will then take you onto Demre Bus Station where you can make your own way onto your next destination. (B, L)

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
- Free pickups are provided for the Fethiye to Olympos and Olympos to Fethiye cruise. Pickup is provided from central Fethiye and central Demre and Olympos. No pickups from surrounding areas including Calis, Oludeniz, Cirali Beach, Antalya and Hisaronu. No pickup is provided for Kas cruises.- Port and marina fees, taxes and fuel are all included in your cabin charter package price.
- Passengers have the use of all standard yachting equipment on board. This includes snorkels and masks and board games.- Linen is provided on this cabin charter. Please note that you must bring along your own bath/beach towel. No towels are provided
- Entrance fees and optional activities are not included in the cabin charter package price.
MEALS & DRINKS
All meals are included for the duration of your cruise. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and snacks.Drinks are not provided in your cabin charter package. On this cabin charter you may not bring along your own drinks. All drinks including water are sold on board at reasonable prices. A bar tab is setup for the duration of the week. All bar tabs are paid on the conclusion of your cruise.
Allocation of cabins is done on site. All gulets and cabin layouts are different, cabins are not predetermined. On these cruises you may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin depending on your group breakdown. Where possible, Alaturka will do their best to room couples in a double cabin, and individuals in a twin room of a person of the same sex.For individual travellers who do not want to be assigned with another passenger, single supplement cabins are available.All cabins have private bathrooms with toilet and shower
-Your cabin charter is a non-guided tour. There is no local guide on board providing information on the sites and locations.
-Children of all ages are allowed on this cabin cruise. However it is not recommended for 1-3 year olds. Ages 4 to 10 years old are charged at 50% of the full cruise rate if staying in their parent/guardian’s cabin. If there are more than one child, the first child is charged 50% and every child after at full price. Ages 11+ charged at full cruise price.
