Fethiye to Demre Blue Cruises Turkey
Fethiye to Demre 3 day, 2 night cruise is for those of you with not so much time up your sleeve, but still affording the chance to cruise along one of the most popular routes along the Turquoise Coastline. Travelling on a standard gulet, this cruise has something for everyone. From the ancient cities and sights to crystal clear waters for swimming and snorkelling.
You leave Fethiye bound for Butterfly Valley where you can take the time to hike in the valley or just in enjoy the vivid blue ocean for a swim. You will then cruise past Europe’s most photographed beach, Oludeniz, anchoring on the back side of the Blue Lagoon before you will finally anchor down at St Nicholas Island, where you can go and explore the ruins. Kas and the Kekova region will be explored over the next few days as your captain will take you past the famous Sunken City of Kekova, give you time to go shopping in Kas and visit the ruins of Simena Castle for some sweeping views over the ocean you have just travelled along. Throughout your cruise you and the other guests will be offered the chance to undertake some optional activities of paragliding and diving, you will get the chance to relax and swim in some stunning bays, whilst the whole time enjoying a plentiful of Turkish dishes and hospitality.

Fethiye to St Nicholas Island
The meeting point for today is at the Alaturka office at 10:00am. Those staying in central Fethiye will be collected from their hotels at a predetermined time and those staying outside of these pickup locations will meet at the office. Following check in, we will board the gulet for a short briefing. The gulet will then depart Fethiye harbour around 11:00am to 11:45am and cruise to the first stop, Butterfly Valley. Time for some swimming, lunch and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Butterfly Valley is known to be home to more than 136 different types of moths and butterflies, however in the hotter days they can be difficult to spot.
The next stop is the most photographed beach in the world - Oludinez. At Oludeniz there is the option to go paragliding. This involves taking off from Babadag Mountain, 2000 metres high and fly over the Blue Lagoon and Oludeniz. This is the best spot in Europe and probably the world for paragliding and will offer you the most spectacular views! For those wanting to fly please consider pre booking this activity either online for special online rates or you can book with our friendly office crew and also last minute with your captain. Tonight the gulet will anchor down at St. Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk up through the ruins covering the island and sit and enjoy the sunset. (L, D)
St Nicholas Island to Kas
Today our guests will wake up just outside of Kalkan in the beautiful Aquarium Bay for a morning swim and breakfast. Afterwards we then cruise onto Kas, a small fishing village with a cafe culture home to great cafes, beer gardens and restaurants. It also has some of the best shopping in the area, especially unique jewelry. You will have plenty of time to explore these shops, cafes and even the town's ancient theatre. At this stop there is also the option to do scuba diving. It is the best place in southern Turkey to dive. For those without a license you can do an introduction dive or certified divers can view everything from caves or even a wreck. Be sure to look at booking this optional extra online before your cruise to receive an online discount. This can also be booked with the captain on board. Tonight is spent in a secluded bay between Kas and Kekova. (B, L, D)
Kas to Demre
Today, following breakfast we will cruise onto the Sunken City, an ancient town destroyed by an earthquake in the second century. This dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period. We will cruise parallel to this protected World Heritage site nice and slowly. There is, however, no swimming, diving or snorkelling allowed in this area as it isa protected sight. Afterwards the gulet will anchor down near Kekova to visit Simena Castle and the rest of the island. Walking to the top of Simena Castle provides a magical view over the bay.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to Demre Harbour where your cruise ends. An Alaturka ground crew member will then transfer you by car to Demre Bus Station where you can make your own way onto your next destination. There are regular buses onto both Olympos, Antalya and Fethiye from this bus station. (B, L)

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
- Free pickups are provided for the Fethiye to Olympos and Olympos to Fethiye cruise. Pickup is provided from central Fethiye and central Demre and Olympos. No pickups from surrounding areas including Calis, Oludeniz, Cirali Beach, Antalya and Hisaronu. No pickup is provided for Kas cruises.
- Port and marina fees, taxes and fuel are all included in your cabin charter package price.
- Passengers have the use of all standard yachting equipment on board. This includes snorkels and masks and board games.
- Linen is provided on this cabin charter. Please note that you must bring along your own bath/beach towel. No towels are provided
- Entrance fees and optional activities are not included in the cabin charter package price.
MEALS & DRINKS
All meals are included for the duration of your cruise. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and snacks.Drinks are not provided in your cabin charter package. On this cabin charter you may not bring along your own drinks. All drinks including water are sold on board at reasonable prices. A bar tab is setup for the duration of the week. All bar tabs are paid on the conclusion of your cruise.
Allocation of cabins is done on site. All gulets and cabin layouts are different, cabins are not predetermined. On these cruises you may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin depending on your group breakdown. Where possible, Alaturka will do their best to room couples in a double cabin, and individuals in a twin room of a person of the same sex.For individual travellers who do not want to be assigned with another passenger, single supplement cabins are available.All cabins have private bathrooms with toilet and shower
-Your cabin charter is a non-guided tour. There is no local guide on board providing information on the sites and locations.
-Children of all ages are allowed on this cabin cruise. However it is not recommended for 1-3 year olds. Ages 4 to 10 years old are charged at 50% of the full cruise rate if staying in their parent/guardian’s cabin. If there are more than one child, the first child is charged 50% and every child after at full price. Ages 11+ charged at full cruise price.
