The Eastern Mediterranean has beautiful sunsets. The sun goes down over the sea, sinking below the horizon in a stunning range of colour, gold, orange and red. During the main months of summer there is no need to change for dinner; things and strictly casual and temperatures remain so good that shorts and T shirt are all that anyone needs.
Symi Harbour
The harbour area is very pleasant. It is an ideal place to sit for a pre-dinner drink. There is no rush on holiday and restaurants will be serving well after the sun goes down
Local Beaches
Those beaches that are accessible on foot are an ideal place to watch the sun goes down. Two good ones are fairly close to Symi Town, Nos and Nimborio.
