Mykonos Island although small in size is large in character and filled with things to do. It has a good mix of natural beauty with its numerous beaches to visit and also a wild and fun filled nightlife. Its an island where you will be sure to be able to laze around in the sun, swim from one of the beautiful beaches and have a few sun downers before you may choose to kick off a night of partying. Mythologically it is said that Mykonos came about when Hercules was completing one of his twelve tasks and threw all the giants into the water where they became huge rocks, forming what is now known as Mykonos.
