The coastal waters of Croatia from North to South are dotted by over a thousand islands, and in the south or the Adriatic sea, you will find the waters are the most unusual bright shades of blues and greens almost drifting side by side. The Paklinski islands are literally a stone's throw from the larger island of Hvar and by small water taxi, you can easily reach the island in 15 minutes. 

This beautiful island main attractions are the quiet, calm and peaceful atmosphere a real haven for getting away from everything, here you can imagine that the rest of the world has disappeared for a while, the bays are secluded and the waters warm most of the beaches are rocky apart from sandy Perna beach, make sure you take everything you need for the day as you will not find any amenities at most of the islands bays, there are a few restaurants across the island with menus consisting of fresh daily food. However, the beach of Zdrilca does have all the usual bells and whistles of a typical beach day with umbrellas, chairs, beanbags, they have even laid down some mats for an easy walk to the water edge. 


The climate Of The islands is very moderate with typical Mediterranean hot sunny days of summer from April through to November and wet mild winters.


Some of the closest places to visit are the Larger island of Hvar just across the water, also the islands of Korcula and Mljet and the mainland of Croatia itself.
